The 25-hour news is excelent as always.
I note that the Tiny Blur was also fond of the ‘gaps in sentences’ mode of speech. I suspect they think it makes them sound like the captain of a starship.

Younger folks than me used to remark that, “Everything I know about life, I learned from Star Trek”. The “flip-open” mobile phone is a clear design throwback to the show and travelling on the London Tube theses days always makes me think of that episode where they were on the planet where nobody ever died and the over-crowding was endemic – except for the leaders of the society who entertained the Captain in nice spacious rooms, with shutters on the windows to block out the sight of the Ant Society beyond the glass.
