If you have received an e-mail which appears to come from Anna Raccoon in the last couple of hours asking you to confirm that you wish to sign up to receive e-mail notifications of new posts – do not click on any link in it.

I’ve only just been alerted to this – I have no idea where the links lead to (techy help appreciated!) but I do now that there is no e-mail facility on this blog to alert you to future posts.

The e-mail has not come from me, nor has my e-mail account been hacked.

Yup – email is unauthenticated – you can send an email with any “from”
address you choose, unfortunately. Not your fault and nothing you can do about
it.
