Anybody out there who could record ‘The Liquid bomb Plot’ on National Geographic tonight (channel 526 at 8pm your time) onto a DVD?

I really, really, want to see it, and can’t get 526 out here!

i had the soundcard enabled instead of the capture device Doh. cheers for

after all that time uploading just checked the recording and the capture
device didnt even record the sound
microdave is your best bet now for it, sorry about that.. i will continue to
mess with settings here see if i can get the sound on if i have any joy will
post back. sorry again on the letting you down at this point.

me and microdave are in the same situation now the file size will take you
a year and a day to download with the size being so large but if we burn it to
dvd and post you it will that be better for you? its still uploading to my
online drive since yesterday night time. lol so you can imagine just how long
it will take to download it. i will edit the adverts out so it will fit on dvd
as its size now at the moment it wont even fit on a dvd. will still post you
the link when its finaly uploaded.

I’ve recorded it to the hard drive of my DVD/HDD recorder. I can edit the
commercials out and burn it to a DVD if you wish.

other pc recording it now hope you dont mind the adverts you will be able
to watch it strait of or burn it to dvd. will send link to the gmail address

I’ll give a a go – I can record on sky + box then rerecord onto dvd player
– longwinded but it works ….

It’s just occurred to me that copy protection could be a problem. I have
ways round this, but doing it with a Sky+ box will very likely not work – even
if it will playback through conventional Scart or phono outputs.

It’s on tomorrow (Weds 20th @ 20:00) – I can Sky+ it in HD for you but then
I’ll need to work out how to get the recording off the Sky box onto DVD or
some other format….

It’s not tonight – the onscreen TV guide shows it tomorrow (Wednesday) from
8:00pm to 10:00pm

I might be able to if no one else is watching the box….
