‘Whoosh-Clunk’ another of the McMafia disappears.
Damian McBride, the Downing Street aide forced to quit over e-mails smearing top Tories, has “disappeared without a trace”, a senior Labour MP has said.
Tony Wright said he had wanted Mr McBride to give evidence to the Commons public administration committee.
He “seems to have disappeared without a trace and despite our best endeavours we haven’t been able to trace him”, committee chairman Mr Wright said.
Apparently not so much as a knarled, curled toenail remains. Even a bucket of quick lime couldn’t work that fast!
Perhaps he has voluntarily removed himself out of range of flying Nokias, Excoet missiles, and all the other armoury at the disposal of an irate and embattled Prime Minister.
Still, one good sign, the BBC are reporting this snippet, so even they have accepted that Gordon’s days are numbered.

You believe a Labour MP like Wright?
Don’t you think it’s all rather cosy that Mr McBride is unable to be
contacted? Don’t you think that Wright could call in Her Majesty’s
Constabluary to find Mr McBride, if he really wanted to ‘interview’ him?
Wouldn’t the Labour party’s best interest be served by McBride
disappearing?
My, my, Anna. I thought you could see through these shysters.

Let’s just hope he isn’t another one of those people who has buggered off
up a mountain or strolled into the countryside to catch hypothermia and take
an overdose of drugs and booze ………….. What he has done is much more
embarrassing for the Labour Party than saying there weren’t any weapons of
mass destruction or even not saying the right thing at anti-terror
meetings!

Dolly was on BBC24 explaining that it was ‘the right thing to do’ to give
up LabourLost and remove himself from the scene of New Stassi crimes. The
journo pushed him, quite hard for the BBC, until he got some satisfactory
answers. Dolly, as is his style, just looked daft and evasive and the more he
talked the more he looked foolish, and of course, raised light on further
potential nonsense.
As for McBride – who cares – so long as he’s not on the public payroll.

A picture has been issued of an ugly man with a spotty face seen hanging
around in Portugal.
Ooops, wrong thread.
