………… And of course it is so obvious to see why the UK public must not see it. I believe Gordon Browneye said the same when he find out more details about the case from his colleagues at the Embassy in Portugal. Something about the British public not being able to handle it ……… Or so the story goes.
If it wasn’t for the Eddie and Keela doggies and the notes made in the back of one of Madeleine’s colouring books and two of the Clan members prostrating themselves and howling and screaming ………… even I would believe that they were not guilty of anything to do with anything about the child’s body not being in the same place as they are trying to tell us they left her!
Dunblane keeps coming back to my memory …………. Dunblane. Dunblane. Dunblane. Now why would that be? Must be something about too much information being volunteered about bugger-all and yet very little being remembered about the crucial and easily memorable bits. I may know nothing about human psychology ……… But I can smell a liar through a tv screen.
Poor Mr. Amaral. Poor police team who were at the initial crime scene. Poor social-worker woman who offered her expertise to the Clan the very next morning – only to be told to piss off with her help despite the fact that she recognised a Clan member through her work. Poor people of PDL who are coping with the aftermath. And poor us ………. the people of the UK who are supposed to have the best legal system in the World.
Poor Madeleine though ………… Three years old and left alone to baby-sit her 18 months old twin brother and sister whilst her parents had a bit of adult-time together. One would have thought that the Leicester Social Services would have gone to town with the Clan over this – despite the fact that it happened on foreign soil. After all ……… dogs have scented death and blood. It’s not as if they just pissed off to the pub and left the kids for an hour and nothing untoward happened………….. One of them is missing – presumed dead! Surely this child deserves better than to be classed as a pile of volumes of paperwork perched on a shelf somewhere?
I hope that all the emails being sent to Leicester police will eventually get them off their arses and prove that all the Clan’s statements are a crock of crap. We know that LP are inundated with people wanting to know if they are continuing their enquiries. We know they are having a lot of problems with it all. Thames Valley and Yorkshire police forces of the 70s keep coming into my mind. Fancy wanting to be compared to them!
Madeleine McCann has caused thousands of people to pause for thought about how the Press have no freedom whatsoever. It has also caused our Judiciary and Parliament to behave like ostriches.
Which Parliamentarian has got the balls to ask Browneye some pertinent questions at PM’s Question Time? – My MP hasn’t asked on my behalf. And it has been two years since I first told him that a blind man on a galloping horse smelt something fishy about the whole farce.
I can just see people thinking that there is more in the World to worry about at the moment than a three years old child’s body not having been found yet ………… but surelt it deserves a bit of paragraph in the printed Press!

I have watched this.
It raises many questions.
What was the role of the UK authorities?
Who exactly was in contact with this family?
How did a former adviser/colleague of the PM come to be the family’s spokesman?
How do the McCanns really explain the events of that night?
They are all around the world, speaking to so-called dignitaries including Opray Winfrey recently. Whilst it is understandable that publicity is key in a matter such as this, how can they explain their continued public profile when questions about their own actions remain unanswered?How does the Times perceive its role now in apparently defining the validity of DNA results, especially before they were made known?
Have the McCanns accepted their responsibility in leaving their children alone whilst having a meal with others? This despite the apparent regime of checking on the children. This despite any theory that some one abducted Maddy. They left their children – Right??
Is it true that as pressure built on the McCann’s in Portugal they chose to return to the UK instead of seeing the matter through as they said they would do? What’s all that about then?
A little girl is missing in all of this – conspiracy or not. It seems that many players in this are shying away from a known reality. Perhaps the Police chief has valid doubts. It has a look of conspiracy about it. However, the big question remains – why would the McCann’s go to such lengths and potential public ridicule if they didn’t think they were correct? Does guilt drive them to this never ending pursuit of an answer they already have??

……………………………Errrr Blink …………. Merry Gerry insists that it was just like having dinner in your own back garden!!! All terribly reasonable apparently. It certainly isn’t like having dinner in his own back garden because the y have only got a garden the size of a lady’s handkerchief ………… And anyway – he is ‘bored’ with people who keep asking the same questions and dismisses anything in this regard. They are doctors for Christ’s sake! They are perfect parents!
The Clan said they have had tremendous support regarding their parenting skills. It has been alleged by the Clan themselves that thousands of parents have contacted them to say they do the same thing all the time ……………. To date we have not been allowed to see any letters that actually say this though!
And of course Clearance Mitchellina has always maintained that the Portuguese just do not understand the cultural differences ………… ie. Brits always abandon their kids in foreign apartments and piss off out and leave their three year olds to do the baby-sitting …………… but they leave the door ajar in case there is a fire. It’s a cultural thing! It’s also a cultural thing that Brits don’t shed tears in public. They prostrate themselves on the floor and chuck themselves about on beds in front of the bizzies ………….. but they don’t do it on camera!
Leicester Social Services ……… Come in please! Your time is up. And bring those bloody Leicester police with you!

I think it is all about their lawyers saying that it was the best hope they had of not being re-questioned again about stuff K-Woman wouldn’t answer. But I am sure that I must be wrong about this because Merry Gerry said that they had already planned to come home well before they were arrested because of the hostility they were feeling in the town?????
I don’t think it was hostility so much as the townsfolk asking why the Clan were doing bugger-all about looking for Madeleine and answering a few questions whereas they were taking days off work and digging up their gardens and searching miles and miles of countryside. I am not Portuguese ………… and I am pretty pissed off with them for staying close to home instead of getting off their back-sides and at least pretending to look.
After all ……… if Madeleine was hiding somewhere – starved and frightened …………. surely it would be her parents voices she would respond to the most readily!
So much for the wife of the merry one saying that she wasn’t going home without her daughter. I am just surprised that they were not flown out on a private jet.

Have just watched the documentary, it’s left me in a bit of a flummox,
do you think we’d rather believe this than have to think of the alternative ?
Where would they have put her, that know one could have found her,
and how could they manage it with the media scrum that was following them every where ?
Why would they still be banging on about it to this day, if they were covering up an accident or murder, wouldn’t they want the media coverage to end ?
Is it a kind of munchausen’s syndrome by proxy ? do they love the attention this has brought them . . .

Interesting video. It was eye-opening to me. The whole case is really suspicious and I had no idea. I was also unaware of the degree of political interference – it reminds me of a few episodes of Columbo where important people pull strings to get the detective off their case.
A question, though. The video mentions two things: (1) a possible sighting of Gerry McCann heading for the beach, carrying a child, on the night of the “abduction”, and (2) traces of blood/dead body in the hire car.
Together, these confuse me. According to the detective, did Gerry McCann get rid of the body on the night of the “abduction” by taking it to the beach? Or did the McCanns keep it somewhere and dispose of it weeks later using the hire car?
What do you all think?

i have always believed that maddy’s parents’ were involved in her disappearence right from the start..what the hell were they thinking leaving kid’s alone whilist they went and stuffed they’re faces?..its only because they are 2 middle class incompetants that social services havent paid them a visit..if they lived on a sink estate they’re 2 other kids would be in care by now.
“where would they have put her?”..well, the other witneses’ from the other side of the village saw daddy mccann heading towards the beach with a child in his arms..my bet is shes shark bait.by the time the alarm was raised, maddy was already in a watery grave.
the fact that the mccanns drugged they’re kids with calpol is disturbing..like they dont want theyre kids disturbing they’re face feeding time…who knows, maybe maddy was given something stronger that killed her? not exactly mum and dad of the year, the mccanns.
they are both in it up to they’re necks, believe. and one day the charade will end and maddy will get justice.

l have 2 daughters and went holiday a great deal when they were little. At no time did us parents leave them. You just don’t do it … period.
lt amazes me that they haven’t been taken to task over this. As for not answering Portugal Police’s questions, l’m at a total loss.
lf it was me l’d answer anything from them so they could dismiss it from their enquiries … however upsetting it was for me!
This is the first time l’ve really looked at the incident and whilst l can see through the film that there are other scenarios and interpretations l find the actual evidence produced by Eddie and Keela very substantial to say the least.
……
Some practical advice for when something crops up and you have to leave your toddler in the bath in the bathroom for a minute or two … make them sing to you! …. courtesy of my grandmother.

I watched this, rewinding bits from time to time. At the time I thought the parents should have been prosecuted for neglect, and was not pleased with the press coverage which from the outset was sensational, and racist in its assumption the Portuguese police wouldn’t be up to the job. This from our genius investigators.
I don’t know now what happened any more than I did then. The video puts up a hypothesis which it then “proves”, relying on inconsistency and heavily on sniffer dogs which bark, but not alas in the queens english. The car boot lead seems suspicious, but where was the body for the 3 intervening weeks? I know we had a body found in a back garden recently in the UK which an extensive search could’t find at the time of its disappearance, but its a high risk game for the “murderers” to play- moving the body (to where?) when the world knew who they were.
I think the documentary serves only to muddy waters. There is no body. There is nothing more than a hypothesis with evidence selected – and thin mostly – to support that hypothesis. We have to be careful not to trust every scientist ( we had 2 different autopsies on a G20 victim remember ) who gives his expert opinion. There is very little to go on in this case. It is bizarre that no body has been found. If it was the parents home turf that might be less significant, but we are being asked to believe they hid a body in a foreign country, and then disposed of it permanently? Stretching imagination that is.
I hope the case reminds parents that their kids are not a nuisance and they should be treated as the precious things they are. Would they have left a suitcase full of money in the room unguarded?

An interesting piece with some insight into the weakness of the stories the McCanns and their friends have told. The theory advanced in the end, however, is pure speculation and pretty weak speculation at that.
Some people walking home after a meal and a few drinks remember seeing a man carrying a child and months later identify that person as Mr McCann because he was seen holding his child in the same way on television? For goodness sake. That’s not evidence, it wouldn’t last two minutes in court.
All the doggy-sniffing stuff was jolly interesting but actually undermined the former detective’s theory. If, as he guessed, the girl hit her head and died as she fell behind the sofa, where does the wardrobe come into things? Is it really being suggested that the parents stuffed their dead child’s corpse into a cupboard while thinking what to do? And having decided to dispose of her somewhere by the beach they thought the best way to do so was to have her father carry her across town at a time when people were returning from pubs and restaurants and he could have been seen by any number?
Then he has to explain the aromas and “bodily fluids” in the car hired by them more than three weeks later. Having taken the girl towards the beach for disposal is it suggested that the father hid the body (which escaped detection in the most thorough search ever undertaken in that country) for three weeks and then retrieved it and popped it into the boot of the car without anyone noticing despite the McCanns being followed morning noon and night by eager reporters?
Sounds like fantasy to me.
Something about the case doesn’t smell right, but this half-cocked explanation smells worse.

Well, I’ve watched the video a couple of times now, and no doubt I shall be watching it a few more times before I fully get my head around it.
Unlike “FatBigot” it doesn’t sound totally like fantasy to me; in fact, I’m fairly well persuaded now that Madeleine probably did die (in some manner) in that room, which then further suggests to me that her parents were probably involved in some sort of cover-up.
Which is a complete reversal of the opinion I held when the case first broke, and indeed pretty much up until this present time.
That said, despite having been aware of it (who couldn’t be?) I hadn’t been following it particularly closely.Sure, the issues presented in the video raise a load of other questions. But then they would, wouldn’t they? Is it really feasible that anyone could delve back into this case and then present a “finished package” with all the questions neatly answered, all the loose ends tied up? Of course not, and its a nonsense to suppose so or even expect that. Life isn’t quite so tidy unfortunately.
And the truth is there will probably never be a satisfactory conclusion to this, with all the questions answered.However, there undoubtedly are some serious questions being raised by the video but, to my mind, not the ones posed by “FatBigot”, which seem to be to be susceptible to various reasonably plausible answers.
One of the really curious things that struck me about my own reaction to the video, an assumption I hadn’t realised I’d made until I came to reflect upon it and started posing questions to myself afterwards, was the assumption that the rest of the dinner-party were complicit in the “cover-up”. I’m not sure why I leaped to that conclusion, and I’m fully prepared to be ridiculed for having done so. But it still nags away in the back of my mind. And if true, it would raise a whole slew of other disturbing questions.
Putting that to one side though, the key thing that’s really bugging me, and no-one appears to have addressed it yet (though I could be wrong of course) is, if indeed events unfolded pretty much as was postulated in the video, would it be a normal reaction for her parent (or parents) upon discovering the body to seek to enter into this particular form of “cover-up”?
Would a noraml, respectable, law-abiding person (even in a moment of panic) be inclined to dispose of a body as a first course of action? And more particularly the body of their own, presumably loved, daughter?
And even if that were prompted by concerns about accusations of negligence I can think of at least one just about plausible alternative explanation they could have offered that would have in part exonerated them from negligence and not have required them to burden themselves with the highly risky undertaking of disposing of the body.As a consequence of this speculation, the rather worrying thought occurs to me that if they felt the need to dispose of Madeleine’s body then what was truly driving that? What was it about her body that necessitated such a huge masquerade (if indeed that’s what has happened)?
The other thing that’s really bugging me is if, as is implied by the video, there was pressure from “on high” about this case, then why would that be? And for such pressure to be exerted the reason would have to be rather more compelling than that “the British public couldn’t handle it”. Couldn’t handle what precisely?
In any event I’m now sufficiently intrigued to watch the video a few more times, and possibly even dig into this a little bit further than I’ve done up until now.

Having read through the comments and now having watched it all
These are my conclusions having worked with liars and drug addicts.Before anyone slaps libel on me these are putative allegations and may not have happened but then again they may have. Until the Tapas Nine either have a truthful confession about what actually happened or the bones are found in the continental shelf off Portugal, we’ll never know.
The Tapas Nine are involved intimately with this story. They know the absolute truth. God help them if they get polygraphed.
I have a hunch on why the body was disposed of.
Maddie was probably being abused by one of the Tapas nine, One of the men possibly. Or she was killed by one of them.
She must not have been given enough Calpol, Zopiclone or what ever other sedative there was to hand, Piriton is another, along with another sedative H1 antihistamine.
Either the police chief is right and she died accidentally or she must have struggled behind the sofa, and died there, would explain blood & death. Blood from either vaginal orifice, Semen or other traces from the man involved and therefore DNA. The man involved must be a doctor.
Death by strangulation or by head injury or some other method. In either case marks on the body showing that she had died either accidentally or from violence that could not be explained away and that might present in a post-mortem as force or violence or even toxicology.There is a final scenario, She could have died from an overdose of medication given by the McCanns.
It basically means that if someone were convicted that would be the end of their career and these guys graduated ( Gerry and Kate) at the same time I did just some miles to the west of where I graduated in 1994, I graduated a year late so they are still a year or so younger than I am unless they had a year out. I have at least 25 years to go before I can retire according to the age laws or so
There is a significant gap of 40 minutes before the police are called.
That is 40 minutes after Kate raises the alarm
It takes less than five minutes to search a small apartment. Why did the phone call not come sooner, There is more fishiness about what happened in those 40 minutes than there is in any other part of the documentary.My Portuguese cleaning lady could clean an entire kitchen in 40 minutes and I have a large kitchen ( I miss you Elsa come back).
There are also 40 minutes between Jane Tanner and Kate going to the apartment and we only have Kate’s word that she went there, along with the Tapas Nine.At 10pm the Smiths watch someone being taken down to the beach
I have a hunch that they washed Maddies body in the salt water. So that all traces of blood or semen were removed.
The place was cleaned and Maddies body was placed in the cupboard in her parents room whilst they decided what the hell to do in those 40 minutes in discussion with the Tapas Nine
They put her body into a suitcase or other bag and someone in the Tapas Nine guarded it for 23 days before giving the body back to the McCanns to dispose of in their brand spanking new hire car
This would explain why the dogs found blood in the boot and the boot was always open. A three week old body in a bag in May heat in Portugal will go off and will be unrecognisable after a week and it will smell to high heaven. You’d need DNA tests to check identity by then My guess is that she was probably wrapped in plastic. They might have even washed her in the sea, wrapped her in clingfilm, and then put her in a large bag and scattered perfume over it, and then stuck it in a wheelie suitcase, belonging to one of the Tapas Nine. It was removed to one of the tapas nine’s flats and then they phoned the police.
Im sure you can conceal a three year old in a suitcase.
As for final disposal, the bones would probably have made it but they probably dumped the bag and the contents at sea one evening after about 23 days. So in a sense her body is still missing. I have a hunch it will not wash up but that her bones lie in the Atlantic.
However there must have been a small amount of leakage actually in the hire car and that is why the dogs reacted.
As for the political angle, Lets face it we know from the channel four news on 30th April that Gordon is incapable of recognising his lies, or doesnt want to and that him phoning up and then squashing the investigation and looking good in the process, and even talking about it at Lisbon. Why does it feel like the man protest too much to misquote an often misquoted phrase?. Why was the police chief dismissed? We know also that the press in Britain are not free anymore. Tip read the Icelandic news on the web and there are stories there that havent even made the media here.
Furthermore their Fund, the Find madeleine fund has its registered offices at 2-6 Cannon Street, London EC4M 6YH.

Yeah, I would tend to agree with Henry North London’s analysis… or something very much along those lines. (I might disagree on a few details, but that’s incidental.)
Seems to me that if Madeleine had died of an accident as the video postulates it would have been much easier to have not sought to dispose of the body.
If excuses and cover-ups were to be used then its not totally implausible for the accident to have been represented as occurring during the presence of either parent… hence mitigating the “negligence” accusation to some extent.I can only think of three reasons why it would be desirable not to have the body examined by a pathologist (which it undoubtedly would have been), none of which are pleasant to contemplate:
1) Indications of physical abuse (bruising, old bone breakages etc)
2) Sexual abuse
3) Presence of drugs in the bodyAnd nor am I able to shake the impression that the rest of the dinner party were complicit in some way, at the very least in the cover-up, but even that would pose the question why?
As for the high level pressure being applied, I’d be sorely tempted to dig around into the backgrounds of all the parties concerned for interesting “connections”.

Cadaver dogs: These are the same dogs used in Jersey recently to investigate the basement of a care home where abuse had been alleged, but where no human remains were found. From Private Eye: Enhanced victim recovery dogs, or “cadaver dogs” are usually used to find missing bodies in shallow graves or to find the body parts of bomb-blast victims. But when these two jetsetting wonder-dogs were called in to trace the missing Madeleine McCann, they ended up pointing their wet noses of suspicion at her hapless parents. Police said Eddie had picked up the “smell of corpse” on Mrs McCann’s Bible and in the boot of their holiday car. Keela was said to have detected blood traces on the washed walls of the family’s holiday apartment. Just like the Jersey discoveries, these claims have not stood up to forensic scrutiny. Private Eye is not noted for toeing the line.

………………………………………………..That’s all we’ve been doing Mike. Trying to find connections. The highly- qualified social-worker woman who offered her expertise at the scene of the crime …………… was told to piss off because she was asking pertinent questions in the same way as a copper would …………… and errrr ………. K-Woman didn’t like that. Same way as she didn’t like the way Mr. Amaral’s team asked her pertinent questions many months later. ……………. Even though she knew that by not answering questions she would hinder and hamper the case!!!
If I was going to be hanging around the apartment sat on my arse all day whilst all the townsfolk searched for my daughter – I would have at least pretended to embrace Yvonne the social-worker and tried to look as if I was taking some comfort from her expertise. Funny that K-Woman didn’t do that. Made me extra-suspicious!
But the really suspicious bit was the fact that K-Woman told Yvonne that Madeleine had been missing an hour longer than the police thought she had!!! Aaaaaaaaagghhh! That was a bit of a huge slip-up to me. And when Yvonne said she recognised a Clan member but couldn’t recall where from ………….. Aaaaaaaaaaagghhh! Well! That just about told me we weren’t ever gonna find that child alive ……….. if ever at all!
And guess what? We still haven’t! ………… Browneye busy-bodying on the phone a lot brought back the memories of the Dunblane massacre and then I just knew we were in for a lot of meaningless bugger-all statements about bugger-all ……………. And guess what? That’s what we got! Then there was the mystery of much job-changing around the Embassy staff. Mysterious or what? Then we find out that Browneye is making sure Amaral is off the case!!!
Then ……………. the bloke in charge of the Press Complaints Commission tells Merry Gerry to seek what he wanted at law coz the PCC couldn’t help him. Sez it all really. Sez it all! …………. Then Merry Gerry makes a big slip-up in my own personal judgement by telling the Select Committee that Mr. PCC told him this in a private conversation!!! Sez it all! It just bloody sez it all. Nothing in the Press, no heads rolling ……………. Yet Merry Gerry has effectively said that Mr, PCC didn’t think his own PCC was fit for purpose. You just couldn’t make it up could you? Not like Merry Gerry can and that’s for sure.
Merry Gerry should have been given a job with McBride and Draper. At least anything he comes out with can be made to sound pretty believable ………… Even the bit about how he sensed somebody hanging around the apartment when he was admiring his children on one of his checks sounds believable ………….. to f*cking idiots!

Yes, that’s what we get down to at every single turn of evaluating the known facts:
1) Indications of physical abuse (bruising, old bone breakages etc)
2) Sexual abuse
3) Presence of drugs in the bodyI cannot escape the feeling that Amaral in his book and documentary has presented the “easy way out” [accident], hoping they would take the bait. And then reveal what else he has up his sleeve. IMO & allegedly.
B.t.w. it is very interesting to watch the snippets of Ophra & McCanns WITHOUT sound. Easier to concentrate on facial expression …

Super observation Chatelaine! It rather puts me in mind of Jeremiah Paxoman …………. The chappie who had trouble with his underpants – and who used to be a bit of of a renegade but has since conformed to the BBC party line and toes it rather badly – (Until he gets a better TV deal.)
Jeremiah Paxoman interviewed the snarling Merry Gerry after the ex-arguido’s grand debut foray into the realms of the Select Crematorium Committee. I still don’t know why Merry Gerry had the privilege of having a pre-recorded interview with Paxoman ………….. except for the lame excuse of Merry Gerry’s precious time being short that week ……………. But I detected all the squirmy moments were edited out – save for a very odd few.
Of course I could not fail to notice that Paxoman used a quite similar male version of the Oprah expressions …………… and he looked a bit stuffed and bored as well. Just about the lamest of lame interviews I have ever seen.
Oprah didn’t seem quite as relaxed and believing as she does when she is relaxed and believing did she? Maybe she has been up late all week reading our emails!

………………………..Mmmmm …………….. The scent on the key-fob of the car is of grave interest and of course the cadaverinous scents that pervaded the car. Of course we must remember the scents on the clothing of K-Woman and the child’s T-shirt etc., – not to mention that the dogs were terrifically excited throughout their romps through the 5A apartment specifically.
To have referenced Jersey is a pertinent observation – because of course there were a lot of dubious characters in high places and many of them up to their ‘taters and butter-balls over there as well! If only the dead could speak to us ay?
How the bloody Hell do the teeth of children end up in the cellars of children’s homes? I ponder …………. and can come up with nothing less than horrific thoughts. Were these kids under the impression that the Tooth-Fairies lived underground?
Once again I am tormented by my thoughts on a masssacre at a school in Dunblane.
Eddie and Keela have an impeccable record. Absolutely impeccable …………. wheras the FSS in Birmingham ………….. haven’t!

That’s right Chatelaine …………… In their case totting up their individual salaries as a collectively enormous amount over the next twenty-fve years or so! ……….. Having totted that lot up, they would automatically resign themselves to the fact that having done a bit of bird in a foreign nick for a couple of years for leaving all their collective kids in some isolated and lonely apartments – Which by at least one of the Tapstwats own admissions gave her the creeps or shivers ………… albeit it was OK to leave the kiddies anyway!
Yep! One would come to the conclusion that not having a job to come back to would seriously jeopardise their homes and jet-set life-styles ………….. not to mention all those lovely TV and media people and the string of millionaires they count amongst their friends possibly having to abandon them because of the sensation it would cause! Cor blimey!
And of course ……….. there were errrrr ………… other doctors who had made shocking statements about a couple of the Clan. Utterly shocking and downright scary statements that Leicester Police found so shocking and scary that they did not even deem them fit to send to Portugal for Mr. Amaral’s eyes to see! So Goddamned downright shocking and errrrr ……….. scary they were.
Cor! Two other doctors ………….. up against a big handful of other well-heeled and well-connected doctors …………. Phew! Who do we believe? After all …………. doctors are pillars of the community aren’t they? Like Harold Shipman and Crippen. What a bloody mess!
I wonder if those two particular doctors are still on the Christmas card lists of the Tapastwats? I bet they aren’t!!!
That was the biggest gun that was fired in this whole farce. In fact it was a massive cannon-type blast. And it has blown so many holes in everything that everything to do with this case must be suppressed by the owners of the media ……….. lest they never get favours and Knighthoods again! Read all about it! Read it all about it! ……………… Not!

……………………………….Yep! Read it as suggested. I think the Editor of Private Eye knows what he is saying here. Maybe he knows as much as some of the rest of us do ……………. ie, that the claims have not stood up to ‘forensic scrutiny’ because the forensic scientists who carried out the tests were not independent investigators nor did they come even close to the word ’scrutiny’. Cursory or superficial would have been more apt words for the type of tests they carried out. Something definitely not right about the FSS reports according to The Files.
The major point though here is that Private Eye have dared to even mention the Clan at all. I am sure you must have noticed that they appear to have deliberately avoided it for two years. Peter Cook wouldn’t ………. because thousands of people would have jumped in to help him pay any court costs. I must say that I loved P.E.s take on all the daily Press front-covers though. Hysterical!
The Jersey case is of course an enormous bowl of hot potatoes with a side-dish of worms.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, or, in this case, behind the front page of the tabloids…
2. Suitcases. It is a long shot but are their any images online of the Tapas nine arriving on the holiday with their suitcases? Are there any images of them leaving? Would be interesting to see if these match…

Oooooohh! Yes I would actually Mike!
