RIP Captain Haddock.
We have lost one of that happy band of commentators, without whom, we Bloggers would have no purpose in life.
Their wit, their erudite comments, their support when times are hard and inspiration is low, are the very life blood of any blog.
Captain Haddock has passed away.
I still remember his prize suggestion for Gordon Brown:
“What a pity we can’t fit Brown & Co with “giant pink anal air-bags” .. They certainly talk enough shit .. we could heat the Nation for years ..”
