Quote of the Day
“For those of us that have known Gordon Brown for many years, what we have just seen is no huge surprise I have to say.”
Nick Robinson
For those of us who have had to rely on Nick Robinson and his lobby pass cronies for many years, to tell us what is really going on in parliament and 10 Downing Street, that admission comes as no great surprise.
It is why we have no respect left for the main stream media.
Every time we pay our licence fee, or buy a newspaper, we contribute to your wages; we pay for your cars, your clothes, your food, your wine, your children’s education, your summer holidays, every last penny you spend.
We have done it because we believed that you were bringing us factual information from a world we could not penetrate.
You have just admitted that you knew the truth all along, but have been happy to trot out the agreed Nu-Labour line – that Gordon Brown was an honest and hard working decent man.
You knew he was a two faced liar and a hypocrite with no respect for the ordinary working voter?
Yet you wait until three or four days before he is removed from power, before he is no use to you or your career any longer, before you tell the people who have been paying your wages the truth?
Shame on you!
UPDATE: Secondary Quote of the Day!
“Fu*k Gordon Brown and the horse he rode in on.”
From my favourite Big Girl’s Blouse and manically Labour supporting blogger.
Dearie me, Our Gord which Art in Downing Street has even lost the support of the Lefties! I can do no better than to repeat my previous ditty:
“O Voters!,” said Old Cyclops,
“You’ve had a pleasant run!
Shall we be voting Me again?’
But answer came there none–
And this was scarcely odd, because
He’d pissed off everyone.

It is a pity that Robinson et al were at Labour’s beck and call for all these years.

I heard about this new film coming out:
“Anna Raccoon: The Reckoning!
One woman’s fight to put the Main Stream Media in their place”
Critic reviews haven’t been great but people seem to love it.

He hates us voters. He obviously hates Northern grandmothers big time! He will get his just deserts next week. And the rest of his smirking, arrogant crew can go down with his bloody ship too!

I know I souldn’t laugh because the lady is clearly a bit annoyed at Brown’s casually tossed accusation at her, but it is hilarious and must go down in history as one of those classic moments where people just forget they are wired up.
What is going to be of equal comedy value is Lord Voldemort trying to spin this into a positive and save Brown if that is at all possible from a very hostile electorate.
Will the BBC have the balls to perhaps allow a question in directed at Brown at this weeks final leaders debate ? I some how doubt it.
But thanks for laugh Gordon, I haven’t had this much fun since Smith’s Porn Ultimatum which was just a hoot.

Agree with most of your posts Anna (damned with faint praise!!!), but this post is truly superb, in that it nails these b*stards for the treasonous filth they are. Thank you.

AR 17:19 “Brown had not meant what he said.”. An honest observation. It applies to everything Gordoom says.

Erm, but he did mean what he said. He just didn’t mean to say it while he was still wearing a microphone. There’s no wriggling out of this one.

That lady expressed very moderate views on the subject of immigration – they are views similar to those held by an enormous number of voters.
Everybody be fully aware of the utter contempt in which you are held by this government and its leader.
And think about that when you hold the pencil above your ballot paper.

I would say Nick’s admission and the recent behaviour of an invigourated media is merely members of the lobby trying to not get given the boot under a new Government.
They have been often absent without leave under Labour, very much one of them than in any sense one of us. Time and again they have chosen to be conduits for the likes of Alistair Campbells and Peter Mandelson rather than hold the Government to account.
No more ’sources say’ please. If people want to brief let them do so in the open. The lobby have the means to limit the spin, poison and bullshit but for a quiet life often chose not to.

If Brown thinks this old Lady is a Biggot then he would have a fit if he met more people from everyday life. The people whose lives have been ruined through government incompetence and ineffective policy.
Is he so shielded by Yes Men that he thinks the London reporters present a true reflection of society and our views. Let me assure him the rest of the UK is not filled with Vegans, Metrosexuals, Pacifists, Middle Class Lefty Students and Politicans who have never had a job in a tax generating and profit making enterprise.
People I meet every day are sick and furious of what Labour has done to Britain. The working people Hate Labour and Despise Brown.
For the lefties I will clarify – Working People: the ones who pay for the utter nonsense of the politically correct nanny state and all its socialist utopia supporting muppets, political phuckwitts, skanky students that run the country for the benefit of the non job giro jockeys.

As for the media giving Labour and easy ride try watching politics in on BBC Scotland or reading Scottish Newspapers.
They report Labour Press Releases almost word for word, they never interupt them speaking, they treat all other parties with contempt, the worst crimes in recent political history go without mention.
They even have been known to holiday together and there is a drinking club on a friday in Glasgow when they all get together and plan the stitching of the rest of the population. The would make a North Korean State broadcaster blush.
Cannot wait until election night. Portillo Moments all round.

I don’t pay the telly tax and I last bought a newspaper in 2007. It’s bad enough being lied to; I see no reason to pay for the privilege. So Knob Rickinson and his expense-account pals get no joy from me, except indirectly, since everyone ends up paying for everything.
Would-be refuseniks: Google “TV Licensing” and explore!

Anna: This is the best blogpost on this subject today as it get’s to the fundamental matter; why the electorate has been deceived by a bunch of self-deluding clowns, thugs and half-wits.
I’d say, “Go to the top of the class”, but you’re there already. -

Anna,
Please can we have the Pet Labour Troll updated to reflect Gordons most recent statements or even a Gordon Brown specific troll.
It could be big in the next week?

And first prize goes to G. Brown for the least genuine, most publicised apology forced out of a Prime Minister since Prime Minister G. Brown was forced to apologise for writing an almost illegible and mis-spelled letter to the mother of a dead soldier. Middle-aged women! Trouble, eh?
And a Special Merit Award goes to P. Mandel-Patroniser for being super-quick to get himself in front of the cameras in his role as Hypnotiser General, with a Gold Star being awarded to him for being able to keep a straight face while drizzling verbal-emollient onto the prickly skins of the entire nation who weren’t going to fall for his treacle-coating for once.

The PLT is hugely flexible and requires no adjustment. I’ve just consulted this delphic application and learned: Gillian, indeed. I reject murder! Sue Nye is a tool of the BBC!. Bang on the money, if you ask me, and note the subtle introduction of murder as a Rachekonzept (revenge concept) which escalates in a deliciously proto-mandelsonian touch the idea of the non-denial denial.
