How green was my murderer
When you have to start making threats of violence, then it’s clear that you have lost the argument. And so it’s wonderfully ironic that this article has the following “editor’s note” preceding it:
While we encourage and appreciate discussion in the comments, do stay polite and don’t make death threats or incite violence. (Not towards our staff, not towards people we disagree with, not towards anyone. Please be nice people. Thanks.)
Because the article itself, a long rambling rant against people who don’t slavishly adhere to Greenpeace cant, ends:
If you’re one of those who have spent their lives undermining progressive climate legislation, bankrolling junk science, fueling spurious debates around false solutions, and cattle-prodding democratically-elected governments into submission, then hear this:
We know who you are. We know where you live. We know where you work.
And we be many, but you be few.
Well, I can’t tell you how non-violent and unthreatening that sounds to me. I am certain that no eco-warrior will respond to this clarion cry with violence against energy companies and their staff, I’m sure no graves will be dug up, no property will be damaged, no “Chelsea tractors” will be assaulted, and I’m absolutely certain that no eco-warrior will ever be inspired to murder some fat-cat to encourage the rest of us to toe the line.
The mask has slipped. The “care for the planet” has been exposed as just another lie to make people live lives in accordance with the wishes of those who “know better”. And since the lie hasn’t worked, the beatings, the graffiti, the threats, the baseball attacks on your cars, the murders – these are all coming next.
Happy Easter!

“Well, I can’t tell you how non-violent and unthreatening that sounds to me.”
Meh! These greens love to pontificate from the safety of their keyboard, but the chances of them doing anything in meatspace is vanishingly remote.

I’ve also written about this on my blog, pointing out some more of the irony of this Greenpeace activist’s position.
The question is, will we see James Hansen and Zac Goldsmith standing up in court to defend any Greenpeace activist who is prosecuted for subsequent criminal activity?

Never believed much in violence (too old, too unfit, too cowardly) but I have been known to encourage visitors to my blog to write in with their hate-mail, death threats and offers of marriage.
Works a treat. Haven’t had one in ages.

Well you do learn something new everyday. I had no idea that we were breeding radicalised eco-warriors
