Well, I am sure you can get fifty gallon containers quite cheaply from a building/contracters suppliers, and Slaughter houses will give pig blood away for virtualy free…..

I understand councils have a duty to relocate graves when a graveyard is de-consecrated. So, before assuming this was wilful Islamic behaviour, perhaps check the digger contractor had the release papers? It’s probably just the usual mix of official incompetence and ignorance, for which civil service Brits are renowned.

Gravestones remain the property of the family of the deceased and reasonable attempts (eg by newspaper adverts) to contact descendents must be made before they are disposed of.
In my experience, many Asian builders are either unaware of British regulations and law or they bow to the higher folding money authority of their clients.
