‘Stalking horse’ threat to Gordon Brown
Tony Lloyd, Tony Lloyd, lend me your grey mare,
On your expenses you can put the fat fee,
For I want McCavity out full and fair,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, and Mandy,
Jacqui Smith, Old Darling and Millipede,
Old Uncle McCavity and all,
Old Uncle McCavity and all.
And when shall I see again my grey mare?
And on my expenses put the fat fee?
By Friday soon, or Saturday noon,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, etc. etc.,
Then Friday came and Saturday noon,
And Legg had curtailed the expenses unfair,
Tony Lloyd’s old mare hath not trotted home,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, etc., etc,
So Barry Sheerman, he rose to the top o’ the swill,
All a-trough, down a-trough, trough along wi’ me,
And he see’d the old mare a-making her will,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, etc., etc,
So Tony Lloyd’s old mare, her took sick and died,
All a-trough, down a-trough, trough along wi’ me,
And Tony sat down on’t Peer’s bench and he cried,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, etc., etc,
But this isn’t the end of this shocking affair,
All a-trough, down a-trough, trough along wi’ me,
No, though they be out, of the scamming career,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, etc., etc,
When the wind whistles cold on the House of a night,
All a-trough, down a-trough, trough along wi’ me,
McCavity’s old face doth appear gashly white,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, etc., etc,
And all the long night in the fees office be heard,
All a-trough, down a-trough, trough along wi’ me,
The piglets are changed, but the trough is still there,
Wi’ Harriet Harman, Jack Straw, and Mandy,
Jacqui Smith, Old Darling and Millipede,
Old Uncle McCavity and all,
Old Uncle McCavity and all.

Anna, sweetheart, keep this “under your hat” so to speak.
I fully intend to step down due to ill health and will be delighted to announce that Andy Burnham will succeed me as Leader of the Labour Party

Very good.
Just watched Robert Peston saying how great Common Purpose is. That seals it: they must be ghastly.

I wish I was smart enough to emigrate, or just move out of Blighty (Blighted…).
Everybody is looking towards the next GE as though it will be a “Gandalph appearing on the hill with the riders of Rohan” moment.
Sauron (The Rothschilds) via Saruman (Mandy) & his Orcs have won. -

Gandalph appearing on the hill with the riders of Rohan was only the Battle of Helms Deep. The biggest battles were yet to come.
And the Orcs have not yet won. They are facing a decade in the political wilderness.

Good point Adam.
Unfortunately, the supply of Orcs is limitless. Mind you, “Sarumans” ring has been well used over the years…

I made a prediction on here a few weeks ago, it is now just beginning to happen. Labour is starting to crawl back in the polls, the economy is improving, unemployment is slowing and the housing market is in recovery. All in all Brown and Darling have yet again pulled this country through a very sticky time ‘globally’, add this to Brown pulling the country through 9/11; 7/7 and Foot and Mouth Disease, we actually see a very solid financial performance from the labour government. People are now beginning to recognise this and the electioneering has not yet begun by the Labour party, whereby, the shallowness of the Cameron and Osbourn ticket has, I believe, been clearly demonstrated with panicky policies and political immaturity. I think the Tories have peaked too early and are now in danger from the back markers, all trotting past them as the finishing line comes into view.
The coming election, should be quite interesting, I predict either a hung parliament, or more likely, Labour just about nicking it by the skin of their teeth, -

Read the title as “Rocking horse threat to Gordon Brown” at first, thinking that the rocking horse pictures have finally emerged.
How disappointed I am now.

Andy Burnham? is that really the best they have to offer? If Labour get in again, my run down , remote place in the French hills will have to become my permanent residence.
