If you are the Labour Minister (well, he was then, but that was a whole week or so ago!) responsible for employment and you want to show how well Labour are doing at easing the effects of the recession – where would you head to? Glasgow? Salford? Belfast even? Somewhere where hard working British families are struggling to find new jobs and cope with closing industries?
Don’t be daft! You head for the wealthiest constituency in the country with a rock bottom unemployment rate of 2%, and then you stand in front of the cameras and explain how well Labour are doing…….Grrr!
