Occupy yourselves – I’ll be back later.
Raccoon Craft Toilet Paper Roll
This is a simple three dimensional raccoon craft that is fun for raccoonteurs to make and play with. Check out the Action Raccoon Song and the Raccoon Song to go with this craft. A different looking raccoon craft tp roll can be found here. Materials:
|
Instructions:
- Print out the template of choice. (If using the black and white template, try printing on brown construction paper).
- Colour (where appropriate) and cut out the template pieces.
- Glue the large rectangular piece on first to cover the tube. Toilet paper rolls come in different sizes, so if you find the rectangle is a bit too big, just trim it down. If you find it’s a bit too small, just cut out another small piece to fill in the gap.
- Glue on the chest, head and arms.
- Fold the feet tabs and glue to the inside, bottom of the tp roll.
- Fold the tail in half and glue so it looks colored on each side then fold tab and glue to the tp roll.
- Glue the fish into one of the hands

I have a poorly chicken at the moment so this reference could be a cosmic
buzz on your part Gloria. Other than that I am a dullard so you will have to
explain.

Nobody else has read The Egg and I, then?

Anything’s relaxing after being wedged and winched out within the space of
an hour. ‘Im Outdoors is out buying a few bits of two-by-four…

Ahhhh! Thanks Gloria – you are looking much more relaxed since your visit/s
from the fire service, surprised you are still smoking though.

No need to get jealous; I doubt that Noggin would have been able to get me
to dig out my clogs and break our floor again. No, only you could do that
janes.

-
You seem to be very taken with Noggin. In your words ‘really
sweeeeeeeet!’
I shall start to get jealous soon.
And I don’t like pink – unless it in the middle of a nice bit of steak and
accompanied by blood.

Noggin’s avatar is a nice pink jazzy pink pattern – you could try that!

You’re right Gloria, that sho’ is a loverly tank, but I need to buy some
khaki paper to make it look authentic.

I bet janes is straight on to it though.

Now Noggin – you know Saul can’t have scissors so suggesting a model which
requires lots of difficult cutting-out is just mean.

Huh, raccoons are boring. Try this http://www.papertoys.com/tank.htm.

Ooh! There you are, Saul – I wondered how you were getting on with this.
STILL not allowed to have scissors, eh? What with Blink’s stapler malfunction
and your scissor ban, it’s a wonder Ms Raccoon’s craft class runs at all.

….?m not allowed to have scissors…

Aw, Blink! Maybe the staple will work itself free as you type. Keep going,
keep going..

I can’t wash my hands as I’ve stapled them together trying this…
-

Why not? Just because its tail fell off? I’m better at folding than I am at
glueing and I’m not at all dangerous with the round-ended scissors now.
-

… and I made one ‘craft’ raccoon and coloured it all in black crayon and
then its tail fell off and now it looks like it’s wearing a burkha.

Please, Miss, my cat ate my politics homework….

Or a pointy stick?

I’m half way through my first ‘craft’ raccoon, but it looks a bit like a
burglar so far, so I might make the tail into a bag marked ‘Swag’ and have a
crowbar instead of the fish.
- May 8, 2009 at 10:17
-
Indeed I did Gloria! But I didn’t go so far as to stand up and do it so
pointing to my tail was a bit of a problem. I’ll try again later and make my
family join too.

Did you “use your hands like little paws and make a cautious prowling
motion”?
………..
Ah, janes, I bet you looked really sweeeeeeeet!

Oh My God! I must be living in a parallel universe. There is no way that in
my real universe I would have a) read this post b) clicked on the links for
both songs (I preferred the one with movements – which I sang and danced) or
c) followed the template link to find the actual template link (at the bottom
of the page) and d) felt VERY tempted to print it out and make it.
Help!!!
