Barack Obama has been sworn in as US president for the second time in two days, because one word was given out of order during Tuesday’s ceremony.

“Out of the abundance of caution, because there was one word out of sequence, Chief Justice John Roberts will administer the oath a second time.”

That still doesn’t get over the second problem we also highlighted here yesterday – that the original oath was delivered five minutes late, contrary to the American Constitution.
My bet is that a Presidential ‘pardon’ will be declared invalid at some point – on the grounds that the President is not legally president – this is the land of the lawyer after all.

I told y’all that George W was steaming about all this palavre! He called
me during the night and we both agreed that Obey should go through the whole
thing on TV again – just so that everybody is witness to it.

I have a sense of foreboding again ………

Off to do a Real Life day today – but I will dropping in later ……..
